About
Reading War is a blog on current conflicts, military history and foreign policy. Contemporary impression of war does not differ much from a video game experience. People generally tend to believe that today’s battlefields are far away and do not affect us in any way and are incapable of understanding the cruelty, destruction and dire consequences of armed conflict.
In our days, war is seen through a Hollywood perspective. When the movie ends, the war always has a happy end. Reading War will try to present the reality of war by offering reviews of military history books as well as commenting on current conflicts and foreign policy. I believe that only by studying military history one can prevent future wars.
